We'd like to thank Katie Brancheau for this great way to "host" a bridal shower where the bride and/or family and friends live too far away to attend but want to be a part of the festivities. Invitations were sent with instructions to send their favorite recipe(s) with their gift(s) to Katie. Then she went on the hunt for appropriate papers and embellishments for each section of the recipe book. She sorted all the recipes in their proper groups and brought all of her elements to the shop where she utilized our tools, including our computer and printer, to create this delightful and unique gift filled with wonderful family recipes for the bride.
By the way, Katie had never scrapbooked and was totally new to the art. We think she did a fabulous job and wanted to share it with all of you. We have many, many stamps and some great dies (for the Sissix and Xyron) which could be used to embellish or even create pages for each section, if you want to save money on paper and stickers. This would be a wonderful gift to give to families for reunions, by the way, having each family contribute one or more recipes for each section and putting them together in a book which can then be photocopied, bound and delivered at the reunion. The possibilities are only limited to your imagination!
